Critique

This book was good because it opened my eyes in so many new ways and i think that it could open a lot of other peoples eyes in some ways. It really comes down to what you really believe in tho. I don't think explaining parts of terrorism in the 1970's in Europe et. helped at all because it was completetly off the main line of the book. I think the sociology in the book was very accurate and i think the author made the topic very clear in what she was trying to say and explain.

Commentary

My book was simply about terrorism and the problems we as the United States of America would have if we had not gone to war and allowed such terrorist organizations as the Taliban to get organized and allow them to prosper while we are not aware. Another thing was the ranges of problems we would have as a country to let such a devestation be let go so easily. Other people might figure if they can get away with such an utterly at utmost one of the worst things to ever happen in the new millenium, then why cant I at least try to get away with robbing a bank or try to to rob a convenient store? I think the authors points in this book were that terrorists are willing to do anything and we have to fight for what we believe in.

Analysis

Looking at a sociological stand point when reading this book, it really opened my eyes, the book that i read was about terrorism and coming from this standpoint somewhat helps me understand why terrorists would do such a thing or how they could actually do something so desecrative with out even thinking whether they would do it or not. I understand now that they would do such devestations so easily because its somewhat of what they believe in, and what is given to the terrorists family if they do, do it. I also understand why they would do this in the first place. This is my belief on why they would do this, I think they would do this to either make a point that they or the country they are from wants to make a point from they should have the same abilities that any other country should have to they simply do noy like someone or some country. In most cases jealousy of power or want to be someone natorious to the world.
